This position is responsible for reviewing and managing data to provide key insights and trends to leadership.  The contributions of this role are integral to decisions made in the Legal and Administration Division, which includes the following areas:  Insurance, Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Procurement and Business Diversity, Human Resources and Legal.  This role will be responsible for collaborating across the Division to identify key metrics and perform complex data analytics will help drive towards operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.



The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees maybe requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

  • Collects, enters and analyzes varying divisional key data, success factors and performance indicators; documenting the results and effectively communicating insights and action plans to varying stakeholders.
  • Develops property and casualty insurance program submissions/applications ensuring holistic view of exposures for placement purposes; analyzes exposure and claim trends and supports cost benefit analysis.
  • Manages the certificate of insurance request process through data tracking, submission, and management of all outgoing/incoming insurance certificates.
  • Ensures that insurance program documentation (e.g., applications, binders, policies, audits) is complete and accurate; maintains Divisional records in varying database systems and develops and maintains the Division's SharePoint sites.
  • Assists with identifying and evaluating risks of loss to the organization, and identifying/recommending process improvement initiatives in alignment with Enterprise Risk and Compliance Governance programs.
  • Gathers critical information from meetings with stakeholders and produces useful data analytics and reports; prepares materials with the utilization of Excel, Power Point, or other similar software (i.e. Adobe, PDF, etc.).
  • Leads or participates in Divisional projects by developing project plans, monitoring performance, and providing metrics as needed; assists in improving divisional capabilities, increasing productivity, and developing new ways to perform.
  • Cross-collaborates with varying internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Performs related work as required.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, or related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a data analysis and system reporting role in support of varying business functional areas
  • Or equivalent education and years of experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite having proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database management

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Varying systems: Navision, B2B Now, Cornerstone, and/or Kronos
  • Experience in business analytics, risk and compliance analysis, contract administration, insurance program management, procurement and/or human resources business processes
