GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for leading the auditing of long-term staffing and valet, taxi and shuttle, or parking and ground transportation revenue.  Monitors all parking operations and adherences to associated contracts, policies and procedures. Responsibilities include leading frequent audits, compliance review, and financial and budget preparation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

  • Monitors the on-airport shuttle operation and the taxi/ground transportation operation to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and contractual obligations are met.
  • Leads the quarterly audits of the Shuttle Contractor, Taxi Contractor, Long Term Staffing, and Valet Operations.
  • Evaluates all commercial ground transportation permit applications, issues permits, and monitors ongoing compliance of companies with requirements (i.e. insurance, ADA, Title VI, etc.); leads the team in standardization of all permit items, ensuring consistency.
  • Performs field audits of LT-Staffing, Valet, Shuttle, Taxi, TNC (Transportation Network Company, i.e. Uber/Lyft), staff and commercial vehicles; runs analysis on data to provide to management.
  • Ensures written policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and followed; acts as the lead to review all proposed changes and updates before they go to management.
  • Maintains current and accurate records of all aspects related to LT-Staffing, Valet Shuttle and Taxi contractors, as well as commercial GT operators and TNCs; runs reports and performs analytics when needed on the information.
  • Oversees and leads all Landside Snow Removal Operations (Parking Facilities) of the parking contractor, contracted staff, and snow contractor.
  • Assists in annual budget preparation; leads the compiling and review of all budget information before presented to management for final review.
  • Participates in all department projects and initiatives; often acting as the lead.
  • Identifies, evaluates, qualifies, and assists in implementing business partner and vendor relationships.
  • Assists management in responding to customer service issues, including reviewing customer refund requests, hearing customer complaints, and providing resolutions.
  • Performs related work as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate's Degree in Business Management, Operations & Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years in parking and/or ground transportation

Required Licenses or Certifications

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver's license, in good standing

 

SUPERVISION

Work requires the occasional direction of contracted staff or temporary employees.

This varies dependent on the areas of responsibility.  The revenue auditing position is generally sedentary. The areas of LT-Staffing, Valet, Shuttle, Taxi and Ground Transportation split time in the field and with desk work.
